A little frog came visiting at the perfect time

Aloha Little Frog,

Last night your Two Tutus called your Dad on our very old fliptop cellphone. That's a picture of the old cellphone. You might never see one of them, except in stories someone might tell you. Those old cellphones aren't very popular now days, but, some times things that aren't very popular can be just enough.

My Ma, your great-tutu, taught me about using something VERY SMALL (like that small cellphone) to be just good enough.

My Ma, your great-tutu, taught me about using things like safety pins, and clothes pins to hold things together. Safety pins and clothes pins are not super strong, but they can do some little magic ... like hold your pants up when they keep falling down because the button went flying. Or, sometimes you need to dry your shorts after you go swimming. A clothes pin is really handy for hanging your shorts up till they're dry. Then you put them back on after they're dry, and go swimming again. Funny ha.

Anyway, this little story about the VERY SMALL cellphone is a good one because your Two Tutus were able to call your Dad at the perfect time. You see, I was thinking and thinking about your Dad, your Mom and you. I was missing you folks.

Sometimes, getting a signal (you'll understand what that means, if you don't already get it) means you have to pay close attention to the very small voices, and feelings you get ... like feeling deep and sure, and seeing the people you're thinking about.

Getting a signal, is sometimes called "getting the vibe" or INTUITION. It's like a person is INTO IT ... whatever 'It' is.

Sometimes, the little magic like old cellphones will work because you're INTO IT. That's what happened like night. Your Tutu, your Dad, and the old cellphone were feeling the need to visit each other. The old cellphone found a way to make that happen.

We talked about the beautiful deck your Mom and Dad built. This deck:

Seeing these pictures, we could see how you are growing in your Mom's opu.
We talked about your backyard, and how there just might be just enough space for your Two Tutus to move from here (at Camp Bamboo) to there (your backyard).

Your Mom and Dad have been talking deep about how to raise you in this wild and sometimes wacky world.

Your Two Tutus want to be close enough to help, like a safety pin or a clothes pin, or a pair of Tutus.
Your Two Tutus want to tell you stories, and hear your stories, too.
Your Two Tutus would like to be tutus you can see, touch, and be with.
Your Two Tutus, your Dad and your Mom will be talking more about how we can get closer, tell you stories and hear your stories, and help each other with lots and lots of love, and INTO ITS with each other.

One last thing.

After we said "a hui hou" on the phones, and before your Two Tutus went to bed, Tutu Pete called to me. He said, "A little frog just jumped onto the vardo porch."

Ha, I said. That is perrfect timing. A little frog (like you!) came to visit in a real and truly wonderful frog form to tell us the perfect time is coming soon. That little frog was INTO IT!!!!

A hui hou,
💗💗💗 your Two Tutus

Circle Game

Good morning Little Frog, Last night was a very chilly night. Winter is coming to this Camp Bamboo. Mahina, the moon, was just coming up. I could see her behind the trees. I was thinking about you, and your Dad and  your Mom. I took a chance the little cellphone would be in the vibe, and connection flow.  It was that kind of night, I called your daddy's number, the little cellphone was IN THE VIBE. I was leaving a message. But I saw your daddy was already calling me back! Your daddy was in the yard, watering. He talked about the tomatoes growing, especially curious he was, about the little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes that grow on a different kind of vine. I said I knew those tomatoes and like the taste of them. We had one beautiful and magic conversation while Mahina watched us. It's a very good year for avocados. Yum, lucky you folks!! "The midwife came for breakfast today," your daddy said.  "WOW!" I said. It was a very cool thing to know a 'baby-catc...

Setting up camp

Hello Little Frog! Your Two Tutus have a new camp, and a new home. We left the bunnies, rabbits and hares to be with new friends. The new friends are three human people, making five people included us, four goats, two black hens, one cat, and a dog. This story is about all of us, and the place at the top of long steep road. We call our new place Camp Bamboo.
