Tap

Good morning Carter, it's Tutu. Yesterday I was out in the forest with my favorite Tutu Cedar tree.

It's a very rainy day, I'm staying inside the vardo but Tutu Pete is out in the rain, driving in his big yellow truck with his tools. He might start digging with his shovel to see what it's like to dig a long hole -- a trench -- to connect our wheelie home with our friend Hopi's home.

This is Hopi.

Yesterday, Steph (short for Stephanie), one of the five people who live here at Camp Bamboo came home with two new hens. Hens lay eggs. This morning we heard a new sound, a sound we haven't heard since Tutu Pete and I lived  in the woods with our chickens. The sound we heard this morning was  the sound of a hen laying an egg.

It's a very loud and happy sound. She was giving birth. Like when your Mama gave birth to you!

So, here at Camp Bamboo we are five people, four goats, five chickens (also called hens), one dog and one cat.

When Tutu Pete figures out what to do about digging trenches, and getting help connecting POWA and WATA (electricity and water) to a spot down the lawn from Hopi, me and Tutu Pete will move our vardo and our kukana from Camp Bamboo to Hopi's Place.

That was a long tapping on the letter keys finger dance.

Here is a TAP DANCE you might enjoy. Old men doing some very cool and jumpy dancing with TAPS. I notice your legs are often moving. So ... take a look and let me know how you feel about TAP.

😄Love you!!! Tutu

Circle Game

Good morning Little Frog, Last night was a very chilly night. Winter is coming to this Camp Bamboo. Mahina, the moon, was just coming up. I could see her behind the trees. I was thinking about you, and your Dad and  your Mom. I took a chance the little cellphone would be in the vibe, and connection flow.  It was that kind of night, I called your daddy's number, the little cellphone was IN THE VIBE. I was leaving a message. But I saw your daddy was already calling me back! Your daddy was in the yard, watering. He talked about the tomatoes growing, especially curious he was, about the little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes that grow on a different kind of vine. I said I knew those tomatoes and like the taste of them. We had one beautiful and magic conversation while Mahina watched us. It's a very good year for avocados. Yum, lucky you folks!! "The midwife came for breakfast today," your daddy said.  "WOW!" I said. It was a very cool thing to know a 'baby-catc

Setting up camp

Hello Little Frog! Your Two Tutus have a new camp, and a new home. We left the bunnies, rabbits and hares to be with new friends. The new friends are three human people, making five people included us, four goats, two black hens, one cat, and a dog. This story is about all of us, and the place at the top of long steep road. We call our new place Camp Bamboo.
