Good morning Carter, it's Tutu. Yesterday I was out in the forest with my favorite Tutu Cedar tree. It's a very rainy day, I'm staying inside the vardo but Tutu Pete is out in the rain, driving in his big yellow truck with his tools. He might start digging with his shovel to see what it's like to dig a long hole -- a trench -- to connect our wheelie home with our friend Hopi's home. This is Hopi. Yesterday, Steph (short for Stephanie), one of the five people who live here at Camp Bamboo came home with two new hens. Hens lay eggs. This morning we heard a new sound, a sound we haven't heard since Tutu Pete and I lived in the woods with our chickens. The sound we heard this morning was the sound of a hen laying an egg. It's a very loud and happy sound. She was giving birth. Like when your Mama gave birth to you!
