Frog and Dog and New Moon Wishes

 Hello Little Frog.

Camp Bamboo is getting very wet. It rains a lot here sometimes, and those times have started. There are always frogs here, and now we are seeing them a lot. Frogs like water, but then you know that.

Here's one on the pole that holds the hose we use to fill our water buckets. They are a very deep green color, and if you look very closely you can see they have long feet. The bottom of their feet are very sticky. They can climb without falling. It's not easy to spot those special sticky bits, and you can't see until they leap how strong their legs are.

Wow, can they jump!

There are many frogs at Camp Bamboo, but only one dog. Her name is Eclipse. She visits almost everyday. This is her sniffing for something to eat.

You have a dog the same colors as Eclipse don't you? Soon you'll get to see your one dog.

The Moon is New tomorrow, it's a good moon to make wishes. Tutu Pete and I talked with our friend Jude today, and I wished for a good fat chicken to put in the crockpot on Sunday. Cooking up a good pot of food with good wishes for the five people who live on, and around, Camp Bamboo. That's one of New Moon wishes.

The other one is for you to have a fine and fun Moon Time getting ready to use those very strong Little Frog legs to jump from your private ocean into the flow to see Your People. We're all hoot'n for you!!!!

A hui hou,

Your Two Tutus πŸ’—πŸ’—

The Mo'o Quilt

Once upon a time, Carter, there was a mo'o. This mo'o was an old woman who had so many stories living in her it was sometimes hard to tell where one story started and the next began.  So, that clever old woman took to her favorite tools, and began to sew and stitch. The Mo'o had bits and pieces of cloth that she was fond of. One bit was actually old pillow cases, washed and cleaned, and filled with the dreams and journeys that spilled from your Two Tutu's heads when they slept upon the pillowcases.  The other bit of cloth was a colorful, never-used before cloth filled with Bird of Paradise flowers.  The Mo'o cut and laid out the two bits of cloth imagining how a blanket could be sown together to be a story quilt for a very special family -- her family/your family, Carter -- who lives across the Great Moana Nui, the great big Pacific Ocean.  Once a picture was pa'a in The Mo'o's mind she pulled out her sewing machine and sewed the bits of cloth that had B...

Circle Game

Good morning Little Frog, Last night was a very chilly night. Winter is coming to this Camp Bamboo. Mahina, the moon, was just coming up. I could see her behind the trees. I was thinking about you, and your Dad and  your Mom. I took a chance the little cellphone would be in the vibe, and connection flow.  It was that kind of night, I called your daddy's number, the little cellphone was IN THE VIBE. I was leaving a message. But I saw your daddy was already calling me back! Your daddy was in the yard, watering. He talked about the tomatoes growing, especially curious he was, about the little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes that grow on a different kind of vine. I said I knew those tomatoes and like the taste of them. We had one beautiful and magic conversation while Mahina watched us. It's a very good year for avocados. Yum, lucky you folks!! "The midwife came for breakfast today," your daddy said.  "WOW!" I said. It was a very cool thing to know a 'baby-catc...
